Ambushed

July 3, 2007

Just getting back from a meeting with Bjorke, Ernaad, and Xisa I was heading off to the bank. I was tired, and needed to sort some things out in my inbox as well. I shoved through the crowd to the fountain and just then there was a sharp, blunt pain on my head. Disoriented and angry, I swung around just in time to see an iron clad blood elf swing a large hammer into the right side of my head. It connected with a sound ‘clack’ and I fell to my knees. I couldn’t understand why there was a blood elf in Stormwind, but I knew he was going to kill me. My hand went to my dagger and I lunged at him. He reacted quickly to my wobbly and obviously disoriented attack by bringing the butt of his hammer into my chest before swinging the hammer upwards into my chin. I flew backwards and hit the floor. Through the blurry vision and blood I saw my fellow Alliance brothers jumping on him, stabbing and blasting away. Then I saw Xisa. She was obviously outclassed in this fight, but she turned into a panther and clawed the paladin as well, trying desperately to get the attention off of me. I wiped the blood from my eyes just as the paladin looked at me in the eyes, and I felt suddenly more afraid of him than the probability of my death. He took my breath with a crushing swing to my chest before somehow vanishing completely. I must have blacked out then because I just don’t know how he did it. My newfound allies went after him, and Xisa knelt over my bleeding body. Feeling coldness creeping into my muscles made me realize that I was close to death, and I shouted out for Ernaad. I knew the priest was in town, and Xisa ran quickly to get him. When they arrived, some men had already moved me to the nearby inn, after a paladin had muttered some prayers over me. He told me to rest for awhile, and I’d be fine.

Bjorke, Ernaad, and Xisa ran in the room and asked if Iwas ok. I nodded, trying to ignore the pain that now came with nodding. Told them i was in need of rest, so they said their worrying words over me, and left. I lay down and realized that I am not as strong as I though I was. Time to hit my training hard again.
